LBC Tank Terminal Expansion Project Rainbow II

Author: | Posted on: 26-11-2020

After successful completion of LBC Tank Terminals' Rainbow I project, we are also active on the Rainbow II project. This project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

LBC Tank Terminals is one of the world's largest operators of bulk liquid storage facilities for chemical and petroleum products. They own and operate a global network of terminals with a combined storage capacity of nearly 3 million m3 at key locations in Europe, the US and China.

The Rainbow II project is an expansion with 70,000 m3 of additional capacity, bringing the total terminal expansion to 180,000 m3 capacity. In cooperation with LBC Tank Terminals, BENK PROJECTS is providing construction managers, construction supervisors, project engineers, planners, safety managers and QA/QC.

The project at the Rotterdam LBC Tank Terminals site is part of a multi-year investment program to respond to the growing market for the storage and handling of chemicals.
Part of the project in the Port of Rotterdam is the expansion of newly built deep-sea pier with two additional berths. The jetty can handle ships up to 75,000 DWT with a maximum draft of 14.5 meters, allowing full silos to be placed on the site.

We are proud of the great work our employees are doing on this project with LBC Tank Terminals. Do you also see yourself working on such beautiful projects? Take a look at our vacancies or contact one of our recruiters!
