In 2022, John Keijzer sold his shares in BENK PROJECTS and BENK PROJECTS OCE to co-founder Joey van Berkel and stepped down as a director. After John's sabbatical in 2021, on his return he indicated he wanted to step down and sell his shares. This was formalized in 2022. John will remain committed to the organization as needed and will continue to focus on his other passions. During the last gala dinner in the castle of Woerden we raised our glasses to this with all our colleagues. We thank John for the past years and secretly hope that he will stay around for a few more years.
Joey van Berkel: "I founded the company together with John, so it takes a lot of getting used to continuing without him. Fortunately I have a good team around me, including new partners. Like any company, we have faced challenges in 13 years, but we have always come through them well. The transition of the shares went in a friendly manner, exactly as we have worked together over the past 13 years and, as far as I am concerned, exactly as we will continue to deal with each other in the coming years."
John Keijzer: "Long before BENK PROJECTS was founded in 2010, there was already a business and friendly connection between Joey and myself. Therefore, founding BENK PROJECTS felt like a logical step. With a close team we have grown the company and now stands a company where I have always enjoyed working. With pride I have sold my shares to Joey and I am sure that he and the current team will continue to develop BENK PROJECTS with the same pleasure that we have enjoyed the past 13 years. I wish Joey and the whole team all the best and success in the future and where necessary I will try to contribute. Finally, I would like to thank all employees and relations I have had contact with over the past years for the very fine and pleasant cooperation."
