Your position will be as follows

As a contractor underground infrastructure gas/water you play an important role in the laying of gas and water pipelines underground. You work closely with an enthusiastic team and are involved from preparation to execution in various projects that follow each other in quick succession. In a technical environment, you take the lead, manage the teams on site, draw up the planning and take care of the completion of the projects, including the administration. You also work with our work planners to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What will you do?

• You and your team will ensure a safe working environment, with safety always being paramount;
• You will execute various projects and monitor both progress and costs;
• You direct colleagues and subcontractors to ensure the work runs smoothly;
• You oversee additional and less work and supervise related tasks;
• You create schedules that are ambitious but achievable;
• You ensure that the shifts are provided with the right materials;
• You liaise with customers, fellow contractors, government agencies and subcontractors;
• You keep the project manager informed of the financial status, administration and KAM (quality, working conditions and environment).

Here's what we expect from you

• You are entrepreneurial, think in solutions, work in a structured way and communicate clearly and enthusiastically;
• You have at least a mbo/hbo level in terms of working and thinking;
• You have experience in the role of a performer within underground pipeline distribution and have knowledge of VIAG;
• You already have a KIWA certification as an underground infratechnology gas and/or water contractor or are willing to obtain one;
• You have a VCA-Vol certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You are in possession of a driver's license B.
